The Greater Danbury Parochial Track and Field League had its inaugural season in the spring of 2008. The season was a huge success with over 400 students in grades K-8 participating in the track meets. Parental volunteers were an essential and key element of our success.

The track and field season begins in Mid-March and ends at the end of May. The meets are held on Sundays at Immaculate High School in Danbury. Practices for grades K-2 are held immediately after school on Fridays from 3:15 until 4:15 on the SJS grounds. Practices for grades 3-8 are held immediately after school on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:15 until 4:30 on the SJS grounds.

REMINDERS


• MARCH 2 - 7:00pm - Parent meeting SJS gym.


• GRADES 3-8 - Practices on MONDAYS and WEDNESDAYS after school to 4:30

• MARCH 21 - 1st day of practice for Grades 3-8.


• GRADES K-2 – Practices on FRIDAYS after school until 4:15

• MARCH 25 - 1st day of practice for GradesK-2.


• ALL STAR MEET: The top three SJS finishers in each event within each age group will be eligible for the All Star Meet. The top three finishers are determined by official results that were earned at a Meet only.
